  • Every Woman a Theologian

    Tuesday nights

Begins February 20 at 7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall

    Study ends April 2

    Facilitator: Camille Langstaff

*Please note we will not have this study during the March Break week

Know the doctrines of Christ and communicate them with love.

We hold beliefs about the world, ourselves, and God--beliefs perhaps we may have adopted unknowingly based on experience or culture's messages. But God has revealed Himself through Scripture so it can transform how we view and navigate the world--how we think, act, love, work, marry, and parent. When we do that, we become theologians.

-Identify your existing beliefs about God, salvations, and the Christian life

-Learn how to lovingly communicate Christian truths to those who disagree

-Understand theological concepts without feeling overwhelmed

-Grow closer to the heart of God--believing and following Jesus means daily forward motion into the heart of God.

Join the women of New Life as we step in this direction and grow as women able to discern truth, who knows what we believe, and who live our faith boldly in a post-Christian world.

  • The Jesus I Never Knew

    Wednesday nights

Begins February 21 at 6:30pm in the Churchill Room

    Study ends April 3

    Facilitator: Jeff Hoag

*Please note we will not have our study group during March Break week

Obtain fresh, uncluttered perspectives on history's central figure---his radical claims, his challenging teachings, and his effect on others . . . including you. This remarkable experience will spark discussion, interaction, application, and growth. Together, we'll share life-changing discoveries about God, the Bible, and ourselves. Best of all, we'll come face-to-face with the most compelling, creative, challenging, fearless, unpredictable, and ultimately satisfying person anyone can know: Jesus Christ.

  • A Study of the Statement of Essential Truths

    Thursday nights

Begins February 22 at 6:30pm in the Churchill Room

    Study ends April 4

    Facilitator: Ps Ron Hughes

*Please note we will not be having this study group during March Break week

Within the Pentecostal movement, there is still some diversity of theological thought among us, but we remain committed as community to the historic creeds of the church, to evangelical convictions of faith, and to the Full Gospel that Christ is Saviour, Healer, Spirit-Baptizer, and Soon Coming King.

Pastor Ron will be taking you through the recently revised PAOC Statement of Essential Truths and will encourage you to allow the practical side of theology to help you grow deeper in your Christian faith.

  • The 'I AM' Statements of Jesus

    Thursday nights

Begins April 11 at 6:30pm in the Churchill Room

    Study ends May 2

In the New Testament of the Bible, Jesus makes several "I AM" statements, which are declarations of His divine identity and mission. How are these incredibly significant to us today?

In this four-week study, take a deeper look into the many ways Jesus' declares "I AM"  and be blown away by the profound relevance they are for Christians today. These statements will provide a secure foundation in the lives of believers and we are reminded to turn to Jesus for our identity, guidance, and strength as we navigate life's challenges, uncertainties, and the instability of this world.
