This Easter, we will reflect on Jesus' sacrifice together in a communion service on Good Friday at 10am. Then, on Easter Sunday, we will gather with joy because the tomb was empty, the veil was torn, and we have much to celebrate!

PALM SUNDAY
April 2 at 10am
On Palm Sunday, we remember the 'Triumphant Entry' of Jesus into Jerusalem where he was met with people waving palm branches to welcome him. It is a reminder to us to welcome him into our heart and follow Him! Join us for a time of worship, prayer and the word at 10:00 am online or in person.
Good Friday
APRIL 7 at 10am
Reflecting on the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross helps point us to a simple need to respond because it meets us right where we are. Experience a meaningful Good Friday service that includes music, scripture, a thoughtful message. Join us in person as we share in communion with our friends and family to reflect on the significance of the unique love Jesus displayed for each one of us.
Easter Sunday
APRIL 9 at 10am
The Good News is still Good News! We are called to be a resurrection people. The resurrection should inform the way we live and love every single day. But there can be no resurrection without a death. Through Jesus, we're not offered new life someday—we're offered new life now! Our Lead Pastor Sam Welten reminds us what it means to be resurrected. Don't miss it!
The story of Christ’s death and resurrection has been shared in significant ways over the past 2000 years. We believe it the most important historical event of all time, and many artist have created works inspired these events in history.
We encourage people of all ages to submit your art inspired by what Easter means to you to art@newlifepetrolia.com by midnight on Thursday, April 6. Please take a photo of your work, or send in a video that can be posted on New Life Petrolia's Facebook page. Each submission will receive an entry into the draw for gift baskets full of Easter goodies to share.
